The FoodPackLab 2 team has signed a really interesting Memorandum of understanding with the EU Chamber of Commerce and Industry in South Africa.
The EU Chamber of Commerce and Industry in South Africa’s principal mission is to support EU-based companies in advocating towards an attractive investment and business climate in South Africa through policies which duly acknowledge the essential role of responsible foreign direct investment to the sustainable and inclusive growth of Southern Africa.
First joint action between the two ecosystems consists in an online matchmaking event on agrifood tech organised on 23 May. More information about the event here.
Moreover, FoodPackLab 2 will visit the Nampo Harvest Day in South Africa on the recommendation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The consortium will take SME’s with it to meet South African FoodTech players and create strong business relationships between Europe and South Africa.
